Our Andalucian horses are suitable for intermediate to experienced riders only, with lively and exciting rides. They are all young horses ranging from 4 years old to one older lady of twelve years who used to be a dancing horse and she still likes to show off when out riding – which can make for a fun day out! The terrain ranges from desert like conditions to mountain tracks and pine forest trails around the valley rim whilst the valley floor is dominated by Rio Castril, where you and the horses can rest and take on food and water.
We can accommodate up to six people at any one time in our rural and unique cave home accommodation, with the horses on site, so that you look after them during your stay with us.
Each of our horse riding holidays is for up to six riders and is tailor made to your requirements and abilities. For the very experienced rider we can take you on treks across some wild country side with stunning views, river crossings, pine forests and challenging landscape. These treks are not for the feint hearted. To get the most out of this holiday you must be able to walk, trot and canter with confidence. Our Andalucian horses are not ‘follow the leader’ types. They require riders who can ride and take control. The terrain here is demanding on both horse and rider whilst encompassing spectacular scenery.
