Come horseback riding on Celtic trails through historic Co. Galway, Co.Clare and the unique Burren National Park. Get a touch of the true Irish spirit on an Irish horse riding holiday. Your dream of an Equestrian holiday in Ireland could be trail riding through the beautiful nature, or experiencing the thrill of fox hunting.
Here in the rural West of Ireland, we are nestled in the rolling hills of the Slieve Aughty Mountains, gazing through the purple-blue haze down to the majestic River Shannon.
The forest lanes and little roads are so quiet and peaceful, it is as if time is passing slower here. There is no noise here just the sounds of nature.
With our horses and us, you can stay for a residential riding holiday, or discover the treasure of Ireland's history and beautiful nature on our Galway Clare Burren Trail ride. |

David Young introduced Polocross to Ireland in 1992 and it is now played year round at Horetown. Good hacking, and indoor school for all levels of instruction and a good resaurant with wine cellar make it a great place for a family holiday. |
