The choice is yours: English or Western saddle riding; riding lessons; jumping lessons; polo lessons; a hilarious game of donkey polo.... or just riding.... along the Chavon River; to Cacata Village or along Minitas Beach.

With a choice of over 40 riding horses, 15 horses for jumping and in excess of 80 polo ponies to choose at the Resort any given time. There is no shortage of well-bred stock -- fast or slow, young or old for all levels or riding ability -- to choose from.

The Resort offers three trail rides to choose from. The Chavon River Ride is a two-hour ride through tropical trails to the Chavon River. The Cacata Village Ride is designed for more advanced riders who like to gallop on a three-hour ride through the sugarcane fields to the cane-cutters village'. The Minitas Beach Ride takes you through the golf courses of the Resort.

The cavalcades on the desert beaches at sunset and the slow crossing of the "Eastern Cordillera" in the steps of legendary spanish conquistadores will certainly be very romantic souvenirs of the Caribbean. Each of our three outings is a superb safari in the tradition of the bush camp. Thus, the accommodation in a mobile tent is simple and rustic but offers a very light impact on the place and allow an approach to nature in a more intimate manner, complete and free.
