G'day, Welcome to Stonehurst Farm. The Max family has owned Stonehurst for six generations, originally as a traditional New Zealand sheep and beef farm but today as a diversified rural business incorporating horse treks, a riding centre, forestry, gravel extraction, cashmere, cattle, sheep and cropping.
At our site you can find out about teaching children to ride, buying your first horse, horsemanship, New Zealand's equestrian heritage and culture, early rural life in our province - Nelson, farm forestry, the local pony club and our horse treks and riding school. |
