F.E.C. offers something for everyone from the serious competitor to the casual trail rider. Students compete at area Hunter Shows, Dressage Shows, Combined Tests, Horse Trials, and Hunter Paces. Other students enjoy Fox Hunting or Trail Rides at the area parks.
During the summer months F.E.C. offers a very popular Horsemanship Camps for both youth and adults. F.E.C. also brings leading horseman in for clinics. The farm hosts Hunter Shows, Dressage and Combined Test, and Hunter Paces. Other activities include: Pot lucks, Gymkhanas, a Halloween party & costume contest, and cookouts. F.E.C. offers unique social opportunities for the whole family.

The Garwood Equestrian Center is a premier horse complex which provides many horse related services to the general public in and around the Piedmont of North Carolina. These services include horse boarding, horse training, horse sales, riding lessons and trail rides. Designed by horsemen for horsemen, the 108 acre complex consists of a 90’x140’ indoor arena, a 17 stall horse barn, a large 150'x250' outdoor riding arena, several turn-out paddocks, cross-fenced pastures and many trails. Jumping H Farm teaches Dressage, Jumping, and Hunter disciplines. We also work towards Combined Training and Eventing for those who are interested.
Each person will be taught how to groom and care for their mount before and after the lesson. We teach adults as well as children from Beginning to Intermediate riders. Students are encouraged to show when they are ready but it is not a requirement. Competitions are a team effort at Jumping H Farm it is a way for students to get together and compete to show off what they have learned. We stress personal goals in the show ring and want everyone to have a good time.
