At CMAX Stables and Equestrian Center, we are committed to excellence in every aspect of the business. We offer a variety of services from boarding to training to horse marketing. There are scheduled open riding times when you can come and enjoy riding indoors on cold wintry days or on hot summer days. There are two outdoor arenas also available for use, all perfect for training that young horse, or just exercising good ol' reliable.

We employ NATURAL HORSEANSHIP principles in our instruction program and welcome families and riders of all backgrounds.Full care boarding is available including an indoor arena for $200/month. Monthly leasing also available.

Sitter Downs is located 30 to 35 miles SE of Kansas City, MO. Across the road is Blue & Gray Park; 1,700 acres; no motorized vehicles allowed. Blue & Gray offers a variety of trail riding, through the meadows, hay fields, or down into the creek crossings and through the woods. We have been in the business for 18 years and some of our boarders have been with us for 15 years.

We are a very family oriented stable, with emphasis on beginner through intermediate lessons. Safety is our main priority in lessons and on the trails. We have a variety of safe, reliable horses and ponies available that give lessons and trail rides. Located across from Blue and Grey Park we have access to some of the best riding trails in the state.
