Bar Q Ranch offers pasture board for those who do not require stabling for their horses. Your horse is given ample pasture, access to fresh water, and fed twice daily
We also offer short term or overnight boarding for traveling horses.

Bottomley Farm is a full service boarding and training facility offering comprehensive training in the English riding disciplines. Conveniently located in the San Francisco Bay area, it is 20 minutes from Berkeley, Oakland, Concord Walnut Creek and Martinez, and only 10 minutes from Orinda, Lafayette and Pinole. Bottomley Farm has a large outdoor sand arena and a covered indoor arena, both of which are lit for night riding. Access to EBMUD and regional park systems are a short hack away. Our on-site tack store has everything for both horse and rider. We carry a variety of brand names. Special orders are available. We are open Tuesday through Sunday.

English Riding Lessons Ages 7 - Adult. Beginners through Advanced riders welcome! Quality School horses. All Instruction by Sarah VandenBerg, USEA Level III Instructor and USPC "A" Graduate. All equipment provided.

At Bright Valley Farms we strive to bring you the fullest most rewarding experience in all your equine activities. We have an excellent boarding facility, with your choice of pastures or corrals, 5 rings to work your horses' including a 650 foot lighted ring with sand footing. We also offer low cost tack and horse trailer storage for our borders, along with access to thousands of miles of prime riding trails.

We offer riding lessons and have excellent instructors that teach English, Western, Hunt seat, Jumping and Dressage to 3rd level. We instruct riders of all experience levels teaching them how to better ride so them can enjoy their riding experience even more. We also buy and sell horses, breed horses and raise our own horses for our rental stables. So whatever your equine needs we are here to serve you.

Your host, Eldon “Rooster” Kelley , is a genuine California cowboy: he makes sure you are safe and comfortable, and will entertain you with stories of the Peninsula before Silicon Valley, or tales of riding the range.
