Fleur de Lis Farms Horsemanship Academy emphasizes correct equitation (position), for safe and successful riding. At our barn we don’t simply teach students to ride but to be well-rounded equestrians. We use natural horsemanship and study all aspects of horses and their care. Coaching techniques are always positive, interesting and FUN. Most importantly, students are encouraged to do their best and to be committed so they are continually reaching for the next level. Winning ribbons, is a secondary goal to attaining personal bests. To quote one of our students,”Don’t go for the blue, just do the best you can do!” Becca W We ask a lot from our students-- in the arena, at home, around the barn, even at school— but we hear from the kids themselves that the hardest part of being a student at Fleur de Lis Farms is leaving at the end of the day. We must be doing things right! |
