Rhiwiau is ideally situated 600 feet up in a secluded valley with mountains to the rear, and views overlooking the Menai Straits and the Isle of Anglesey.

Ride through our woods and on to the open moorland and hills behind Rhiwiau,
where there is opportunity to canter. For those who prefer to amble along,
the surrounding views are breathtaking, see the buzzards soaring overhead,
and the wild ponies grazing on the mountain. Adults and families can take part in our picnic ride up to ABER LAKE nestling 1500 feet up the mountain behind the centre.

Snowdonia Riding Stables offers super riding, hacking or trekking in the magnificent scenery between Snowdon and the sea. We are situated in the valley of the river Gwyrfai with miles of traffic-free bridleways giving us safe access through the beautiful countryside as we ride up into the hills of Snowdonia.

We have carefully selected ponies and horses to provide a range of sizes, types and temperaments to suit all riders. What ever your ability we have a horse or pony that you will enjoy riding here in Snowdonia.approved B.H.S. Stage IV Training Centre, based at the Snowdonia Riding Stables. The Centre is run by Sian Thomas, BHSI (Regd).

Springhill Farm is situated at 1500 feet, overlooking the beautiful Ceiriog valley with access to some of the most beautiful mountain trails available, it is so near to get to but once there it can be a million miles away.

BHS approved riding centre. We have several miles of grass tracks, a cross-country training course and an outdoor menage with show jumps. In addition to our own staff we also have other local instructors who teach here as required (prices on application). Individually designed courses can be arranged to suit your interests, experience and pocket.

Throughout the summer season we have young people's days and half-days, where you catch and groom your horse or pony and learn about horse care and management as well as riding.

Come and ride for a day or part day with us and see if you like our approach. We don't believe in riding on the flat... With mountains immediately around us rising up to 2700 feet we can rightly claim to be a great training ground for longer distance rides.

If this is your first time out of the school or if you just fancy some fresh air and a good ride we have the terrain to suit your needs - not to mention the horse-power!

Our riding school is B.H.S. and A.B.R.S. approved and is under the supervision of British Horse Society (BHS) qualified instructors offering expert tuition in an attractive and safe environment.

We have a varied selection of well-mannered quality horses and ponies to suit different riders.

If you wish to learn the skills of riding from being a complete beginner or if you wish to improve your technique at a more advanced level then we have the facilities and the qualified instructors to do just that.We offer courses and facilities to gain British Horse Society (BHS) awards and National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ).

Throughout the year we offer: Children /Adults Horse/Pony care Days, Facilities for Childrens Parties,
Jumping/Dressage Shows.
