Bienvista Stables is a friendly livery and competition yard situated close to Glenavy, Crumlin. They offer many excellent facilities including a cross-country course and an indoor arena. Containing 13 comfy stables and many acres of turning out paddock, these are the stables for you.

The Islandmagee Riding Centre is set in approximately 136 acres of land with extensive views of the County Antrim coast and Glens. This newly established riding centre offers excellent facilities for both children and adult, from novice to experience riders with ponies and horses to suit all. The riding Centre attained its BHS approval within the first year of operation, this family friendly centre and it's instructors are under the enthusiastic leadership of the proprietor Barbara McCluskey BHSAI.

The Rainbow Equestrian Centre is one of Northern Irelands leading equestrian centres and is the only purpose built riding centre for both disabled and able-bodied riders. It is approved by the British Horse Society and is licensed by the Department of Agriculture.

Facilities

The centre has one out door sand arena, a grass jumping paddock and cross-country fences (some that are being updated for 1999). The stables are designed on the American barn system and provide quality accommodation for the horses and ponies. We have good hacking on quiet country roads around Islandmagee.

Horses

At present we have 19 horses and ponies of every shape, size and temperament which have been carefully chosen to suit our needs. For the novice rider we have horses that are quiet and sensible and if you are a more competent rider, we have horses, which will take you to a higher level. We also have a number of horses that are suitable for the disabled rider.
